When looking at what is peaking through the snow on the forest floor it kind of feels like the remnants of a really good party. It was a summer party full of lush green growth. After the stillness of winter sets in there are the little reminders of the busyness that will return in the weeks to come. For now the forest is quiet and there is only what has been left behind.

Each element in the vignette is hand sculpted either cold and then fired in the kiln or formed on the torch. The glass box is created using traditional stained glass techniques.
